Gael Bishop is a certified personal trainer with the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and owner of Fitness From Within - Coaching For Life. Gael was a registered massage therapist for 7 years and retired in 2013. She continues to teach spinning classes at the age of 51, is a former alpine ski racer, and has competed in over half a dozen triathlons.
Gael shares her powerful story of overcoming alcohol addiction. She's been sober since October 1, 2013. We also discuss how alcohol affects our ability to gain muscle and lose fat, why more people in the fitness industry aren't talking about alcohol, and much more.
