NBSV 107: Veganism and abortion - a critical discussion
It is a comparison ever-present in the vegan community, though it is rarely critically addressed: veganism and abortion. In light of the recent legislation in Texas around reproductive rights [and lack thereof], my coaching colleague Zoe and I talk about the intersections between veganism and abortion, why the comparison may be problematic, and above all: why vegan pro-lifers are blatant hypocrites.
Important topics and points you don't want to miss:
>> The intersections between veganism and abortion: where are they, and why are they problematic?
>> Can a person defend the right to abortion without compromising their dedication to sparing or saving innocent life, as an ethical vegan?
>> The role of sentience within the pro-life approach [and how it is, in fact, not valid]
